gram stain results
Bleh. Unfortunately Kappa's gram stain (from last Tuesday's appt) came back "10% gram negative rods" which the vet says is borderline for what's acceptable, it should be less than 10%. He said she appears healthy so it's not something to worry about necessarily (it's not worth canceling my trip later this week over), but it's worth a closer look to find out why, so he recommended I bring in another stool sample for them to culture and get more information.
I'm worried it's b/c I leave her veggies out overnight, so I'm going to stop doing that. :-\ The vet also said it's worth running a course of Benebac and apple cider vinegar in her water, that it's worth doing every few months anyway, so I will do that too.
