Is there anything wrong with a bird eating *more* vegetables than pellets?
Kappa gets a veggie mix every day, most of the veggies are organic, and the mix includes broccoli, zucchini, squash, carrots, peas, corn, apples, and small amounts of spirulina, pasta, seeds, and rice (as in so little I barely see it in the finished mix). Everything is cooked, and she eats just about everything in it. She also gets pellets, including Natural Gold, Rowdybush, Zupreem, Lafeber's, Harrison's, and small treat amounts of almonds and Nutriberries.
This past week I observed that she was eating more veggies than usual - she usually gets around a half tablespoon morning and night, and she's been finishing it all each time - and hasn't been eating much pellets. She's been maintaining a steady 97g. Since I've always heard veggies are good, I've been giving her more veggies any time I observe that she's finished what I originally gave her, and I want to know if others think this's the right thing to do.
