past due...
long time no updateage, so here goes the days events for thursday april 13th...
my dad and i watched Doom this evening, he'd never seen it and wanted to, so he ordered it off ondemand, it was the 2nd time i saw it. when i saw it in the theaters i thought bogus, and was pretty bummed out. but then i watched it again and really i guess its not all that bad, i certainly enjoyed it, damn near put my dad to sleep though, but then he sleeps through a lot of movies, even in the theater. anyway after watching it i had to play some form of Doom game, so i fired up the trusty N64 and was obsessed with Doom 64 for about an hour and a half, which is why i'm writing this post at 330am
anyway we had beautiful weather again today so i was out enjoying it, hit up a few antique shops trying to find a bottle for the pirate party, who would have thought finding an old glass bottle would be so difficult? so i think i'm gonna try st. charles antique shops tomorrow or saturday before the party.
this evening my dad and i hit up the indoor pistol range again over at the SSCC, man i love my Walther. i'm really a pretty poor shot with it though :p but that happens pretty easy with a barrel thats only 3.4 inches long. if your off just a little on your sight picture its amplified many times over and by the time the bullet gets down range its off by several inches. handguns are already unforgiving because of the small sight radius, and this one is smaller than a standard service grade handgun.
on the way home from the range i got to watch a badass lightning display, it was over pretty quick but it sure was purty :p ok so this is lame because its pretty much word for word what i put in on my myspace blog, however i am pretty sure that i'm a loyal livejournal user so i need to put some more updates here and just kind of blog on myspace rather than make a journal thingy of it bed time for now though. g'nite
