Concert
Ok so I never came back and posted about the Taylor Swift concert. It FAR exceeded my expectations. I knew it was going to be good, but I figured you know its more geared to young girls and teeny boppers. It really wasn't that much though and I didn't care anyway. I love Taylor and I love her music.
I knew from watching different things that Taylor created and designed everything herself, to the way the stage was built and all the performances. She had several different costumes and such for the songs. It was great!
I went with my friend Emily and we were almost all the way to the back in the floor seats. After Taylor had sung a few songs she was gone and they were playing some video and then she starts to sing and then everyone is like where is she?
She was behind us. She was on the staircase right next to people in their seats singing. Me and Emily were right on the isle where we were but she was still a good ways away from us.
So we see them stretching this rope out down the isle next to us. Emily starts saying that she is going to come down here and I start shaking and freaking out. I know it is silly, I know but I can't help it. I think it stems from being so sheltered as a child and missing out on stuff like this.
Anyway, She sang one song and starts walking down the stairs shaking hands, and hugging people and then she steps up on this platform even closer to us and sings like 2 more songs. She gets down and we think she is going to the other way and then she turns back and starts heading toward us.
At this point they have lifted the rope up and they have workers all down the isle holding it tight so no one can get out. You can hear me in the video get mad and say "I'm NOT". The woman told me not to stand on the chair. I WASN'T. All me and Emily were doing was trying to change spots so I could get on the outside. She was holding the camera trying to get her and me together.
It all happened so fast though and we both forgot the camera was zoomed from when she was further away and so as she gets to me you can't even see her but you see her walking right up to me. OH IT WAS AWESOME!
She hugged these little girls and had her back to me and I thought she was going to miss me, but I stretched my arm out as far as I could and she turned and grabbed like both my arm and my hand and shook or squeezed, I am not sure. It is all a blur LOL. Emily did her best to film but she was holding her hand out and she got to shake her hand. It's not the best video but it shows how she got right up to us.
You have to watch a bit of singing but then you will see her come to us. And you will hear me freaking out saying oh my lord over and over LOL.
