Piggie Update
The piggies are mostly better. I'm going to have to go back to the vet though.
I called her yesterday to tell her Rusty's goopey eye is better but I still hear an occasional sneeze from Drexel. But one of Drexel's ears is like REALLY dried out.
I thought at first it was because of the ear mites and now that everything was treated and she washed the ears out, it would get better.
Well the ear just got drier and drier and started kind of peeling like. So when I told her about that she said she would have to see it because it could either be a fungal infection or some other secondary infection caused by the ear mites. GEESH.
So of course her first opening was Friday morning and I can't do that because I work that night and I just can't go to work on that little of sleep. I mean I'll get home from the vet and unwind and it will be time to get up in like an hour or two. Just can't do it.
So I begged them to work me in. She put me on hold and the doctor said it would be ok to wait so we are going Monday morning. I'm still continuing the antibiotics because of the sneezing and I've started putting some Neosporin on the the ear. Just kind of rubbing it in, and it already looks a little better. I swear Neosporin is like a miracle drug. I love that stuff.
