Whirlwind Week

Sep 29, 2011 18:50

What a week. 4 tests. One being tomorrow and I haven't been able to study for it due to the fact I was studying for the others and the fact that she just finished lecturing on it. I HATE how they finish lecturing and say TEST NEXT DAY. It should be mandatory to give us at least one day in between. Like today she blew through a whole chapter. I mean REALLY. How can we remember all this crap in such a small amount of time. You can't really study ahead unless they lecture ahead of time because you never know what all they will lecture on and you can't learn everything UGH. Anyway, I have hardly studied and I give up. I can't look at it anymore. I'll get up at 4 AM like I always do and go over it some more. Don't think I'm going to pass this one.

The baby ferrets are growing so fast. I feel like I am finally starting to enjoy them some. Between the ECE scare, Xena being sick, me being sick, and trying to take care of everyone and potty train on top of it, it's been rough. Xena is doing so much better. I'm still giving her the antibiotic/pepcid mix and she's almost 100% herself. She's still not playing quite as much but I'm thinking now it's just because she's getting old. I mean she really seems elderly to me now. She's pretty much almost completly blind. I wish I knew their ages. The only ones I know are the babies because everyone else I got from someone else who couldn't tell me their birthdate.

The babies are partially potty trained. Sometimes I think they will never be! Kits are supposed to be easier but I'm telling you right now, my adults were so much easier to train! They are finally going 100% (knocks on wood) in their cage in the litterbox. When I get up in the mornings and when I get home from school I put them in the bathroom with two litterboxes. They've been going in there about 80% of the time I would say. And the bathroom's small so it's a little discouraging they still aren't going in those 100%. After I leave them in the bathroom awhile, both in the mornings and the afternoons I let them run around the kitchen and living room with the adults. I try not to let them run around longer than 30 mins at a time because if I do they usually have an accident. I have so many litterboxes around the house but they still for some reason aren't putting two and two together and using the litterboxes in the big rooms. Anyway, at least we've made some progress.

Here is a video I posted on FB yesterday. Saphira plays with toys!!! I'm so excited. None of my others do. Hercules will grab the jingle balls every once in awhile and roll around with them for like a minute and then he goes and hides them. Slinky likes to go hide the kong. But no one actually plays with anything including Wolf who doesn't really play with toys anymore. So I just have all these toys in a box just sitting there. Well Saphira the other day, proceeded to take half of them out of the box and was playing with them and storing them all over the place. She is so cute! I'm so happy I got her too. She is definitely a sweetie for sure. I've been thinking of renaming her Monkey because she climbs EVERYTHING! They want to give me heart failure!

Well all of a sudden embedding isn't working. It works on preview but won't post here. LJ SUCKS. Here is the link to it.
