Job, school, and critter update
School has been going well. I really like it and I really like all of my teachers. 2 out of the 3 classes is actually pretty interesting to me. Allied Health Science is so boring! Nutrition is interesting and Practical Nursing Prospectives in interesting to me because it is giving me an idea of what all I will be doing.
I never did go into what all happened at work. Long story short, they told me they couldn't keep me part-time. I was sooooooooooooooo mad. If you only knew all the things they did for people there to work with people on things, some of them not even being there a year. And I am a good employee who has been here 8 years and you can't help me out?
Realistically I didn't want to stay there. But after all I have done for them I wanted them to WANT me to stay there for pete's sake! My husband wanted me to stay and it would be better for us finacially if I stayed there even part-time because even though I could get a part-time job somewhere else, I would make much less money.
They hired my replacement and he started yesterday and I was asking when I needed to leave and later on that day the CEO came up to me and told me not to start packing my things...that I could stay there for a couple of months and keep my health insurance and after that we can talk about things and try to figure things out. Well geesh finally!
I figure maybe after a couple of months I might be able to go back full time or at least close to full time. They made 3 errors on my schedule at school! I have one class ending 2 months before it stated it would end. I withdrew from the computer class I was taking because next Friday I am going to take a test to test out of it. I was trying to find out about that the day I was registering but nobody knew anything about it. So that's one less class I have to take. So I think I can work a few more hours maybe starting end of March. We'll see.
I studied for 4 1/2 hours today. That sucked. I sure didn't miss all the studying that came with school but I am enjoying getting to leave work early! I don't get much play around time though because I really am studying most of the time I am not at work.
I still haven't been able to look at the pics I took of Ashe on her last day. Her cage and everything is still sitting outside. I haven't been able to even go out there and look at it. Maybe sometime soon. I still constantly look for her running around out in the yard everytime I pass by the back door.
