My birds KNOW that I am talking to another person on the phone... and they want to talk to them, too! Max will repeat his "hellos", and Mikey will just make happy screaming noises. I sometimes have to go outside to talk on the phone in peace. I'd get them their own phones, but frankly, they are spoiled enough, and who knows what havoc might ensue.

LOL!! They just love joining in the conversation :-D

I answer the phone at my job, and every so often I'll hear birds in the background--they're almost always parakeets, but sometimes cockatiels and rarely something bigger. I have to restrain myself from asking about their animals because what they're calling about is unrelated, but it makes me happy, haha.
