Bird Supplements

Hello all. I was wondering what experience you guys have had with bird supplements. Have you noticed any clear advantages to using any? Things like all this stuff, especially in relation to non-breeding, non-recovery situations.

Thanks in advance! Here's a recent photo of my dudes [link]

On the recommendation of my vet I use Sunshine Factor palm fruit oil for fatty acids and AviBios a probiotic. Many people here use probiotics occasionally, but I was recommended I put it in her veggie mix daily after she had two infections in a year. I also include the Natural Gold supplement for birds when I make her veggie mix on the recommendation of her breeder (the woman swears that's why Kappa's feathers are so amazing that my vet was continually commenting on it), and I'm not sure where I got the idea but I also include a bit of spirulina when I make her veggie mix as a protein source.

Edit: BTW I saw cuttlebones on that list you linked. Natural cuttle bones are NOT a good idea b/c they tend to contain a high lead and mercury content - they come from the cuttlefish, a relative of squids, and one of the purposes of the cuttlebone in the animal is to filter out toxins in the ocean water. If your bird does need more calcium, adding well-cooked crushed eggshells to their food are a great choice, but a bird on a well-balanced diet should not need a calcium supplement.

And your beebs are adorable. :)
