Hi all-
My boyfriend is adopting a 9-year-old male Moluccan Cockatoo and we need to buy a cage. Our local store may or may not be able to get us the cage we want (because the cage company is moving from Nevada to the east coast), so we are hunting online for something suitable.
This bird had popped the welding on his old cage, so we need to make sure that the welding is strong enough and that the bars are a sturdy enough gauge. I have heard good things about Kings Cages, so I'm looking at their website, but I want to ask if any of you have suggestions for helping us find a strong enough cage? We want a cage that is roughly 30"x40" (also looking at 28"x41" etc), and we have yet to narrow down between dome or playtop, or those combo dome/playpen split level top cages. Any help is greatly appreciated. Pictures will come soon!
Thanks!
cockatoos,
