First off... sorry there are no cuts, I can't seem to figure anything out tonight and it's been so long since I've posted anything of length or photos. (Feel free to give advice on how to fix it if I mess it all up. :) (snowbunny909 at gmail dot com)
Well... looks like I'm going to try and stick it out with my 'tiels. I can't seem to find a person "worthy" enough to rehome them to (guess I'm just too picky). I'm not really supposed to have them in my new place... but so far, nobody has complained of noises, and all my neighbors I talk to seem to think my landlord (owner of my condo) is really nice... so I'm going to chance keeping the flock.
Good news is that my BF has actually moved in with me which is allowing more time to give to all the birds. Great thing is the BF likes birds... or I wouldn't be dating him..haha. Or at least he likes Dixie (the caique), and since he willingly gives her a ton of attention, I've begun to focus on the 'tiels. They've both gone pretty wild, so it's like retraining them to be out and be comfortable with me. They were out and running around on my floor for about an hour before they started getting sleepy eyes and I returned them to the cage. I'll keep you posted, and of course, seek your advice along the way. The only thing I still worry about is my lack of finance. Even with the BF living here, I don't have the emergency income to take the 'tiels to the vet in an emergency, so right now I just pray that nothing happens and take that chance until I can start putting money aside.
And I'll leave you with tiel pictures so the post isn't incredibly boring. If this is too picture intense without the cuts, please tell me, I'll take them down. :)
