Follow-up question/idea to my problem yesterday
I had posted yesterday about how my 4-year-old african gray isn't too happy with me spending so much time at my boyfriend's house and leaving him home alone.... well, I was wondering:
My stepdaughter has several other birds that Buddy has lived with (in separate cages, but close proximity). Would it be helpful at all if I brought one of them to live with me? They'd have each other as company - the cages would be close to each other and neither would be completely alone during the evening. The bird I am thinking of bringing is a mustache parakeet - Buddy still calls for her sometimes... Just curious if this would help at all????
