Hiii!!
I just have some excitement to share! My little Huckleberry has said his first sentence!! "Do you want to come out?" obviously i say it alot to him!! he doesnt even say hello or anything like that yet! haah.
hes still not particularly friendly, just time and effort i guess? he'll step up onto my hand, generally with out biting now, i just get a little bit told off, because he relies now that if he does step up, he gets to go into tootsies cage to hang out with her! and luckily, he STILL does it when i want to put him back into his own cage, which is fantastic, coz that means theres no stressful battles of trying to get him out of the cage!!
hes still VERY timid and shy, but hes actually starting to talk, which, i guess i really didnt expect, because hes a wild bird and i dunno he just seems so much more bird-like than my tootsie, i cant imagine him talking! so what a surprise! hahaha
anyhoo... heres a pic of him from today, hes still getting pin feathers etc and his feathers are so much duller than tootsies colours! i was really nervous about how they would go together, but its been quite a while now and tootsie isnt at all territorial, and he seems to really like her... so, so far so good! one day i might get them a muuuuuuuuuuch bigger cage and they can stay together full time.... maybe. haha
