FruitBlends - Parakeet vs. Canary size?
Does anybody know if there's any difference in the Zupreem FruitBlends pellets between the parakeet and canary/finch sizes? I've been feeding it (parakeet size) to my budgies since January and I've been using the parakeet size but I also use silo feeders and sometimes they sort of get clogged in the opening...usually if I just tap or shake it a little bit it loosens up and everything flows smoothly again but I'm afraid I'm not noticing it as soon as I should be and my budgies are going without food for periods of time. I'm probably paranoid but better safe than sorry, right? Anyways, I figured switching to the canary/finch size (which is smaller) would fix the problem but I don't know if it's the same food? I checked the Zupreem website and they have the same ingredients listed but you never know. I'd check the bags myself at the pet shop but I'm having my dad pick some up on my way home from work today and I'm sure he'd just grab the canary size without checking to see thinking it's fine. Not that he doesn't care about the birds, he just doesn't know as much as I do, I guess.
