ah, were you the one that had to give up tiels(?) because you started having bad reactions to their dander? (sorry i have very bad memory..) In the case with parrots, if a parrot gets this syndrome i believe there is no treatment right now. I think there are medications that will temporarily ease the breathing... but no definite cure :(
I'm the one was sensitive to the proteins in dried bird poop, but after moving to a new apartment that's not all gross and moldy, I'm not having any problems. So, the jury's still out on whether I can keep my birds, pending more tests.
It would be terrible for a bird to be sensitive to bird dander. That's seriously awful!

Yes, my first reaction was "what!? birds can be allergic to eachother???" that would be really horrible... but there seems to be ways to prevent it such as keeping them in separate rooms, investing in air purifiers, vacuuming & cleaning often, and keeping the rooms well ventilated.
