i have yet to read a budgie book that isnt craptastic. some are less craptastic than others, but all are craptastic.

I love theold crappy books. They show how far we've come in such a short period of time and I think that's really awesome. Plus there's the laugh value. I also saw a video on how to take care of birds, but I can't remember what it was called. It was highly amusing. "See, there are these *new* things called pellets!"

I think I saw that DVD too. I checked it out from the library. It was beautiful.

How do you like the Rach book?

The Rach book isn't half bad. It got sent to me as a gift from a non bird person & I expected it to suck, but aside from some minor differences of opinion, it was really decent enough as a basic starter book.
The section on biting could have definitely been longer & less simple, though I'm only thinking that because I've gotten bit about 800 times this morning simply for trying to enjoy an apple.
