garden update-
Large pumpkins are split. One is cracked right near the roots, checked the vine for squash bore, none visible. One has a hole in the vine about midway out.
Both have floral tape on them to help "heal" the wound, but since they are both compromised from that point out I have also added dirt to encourage root growth to ensure they have proper nutrients.
Any one want any carrots? I've never seen so many pop up. Matt said usually half of the seeds he gets doesn't do anything. I'd say 99% of the seed we planted sprouted. I can't thin them well enough.
