Hmmm...
So I haven't posted here in forever...
A quick summary of life as it stands:
I'm starting my final year (VI >.<) of University to finish my Computer Engineering degree. I can not fucking wait XD
Living with my BF at the moment in an apartment near the University. Paying more than I should for the place, but it's nice enough.
Life isn't particular interesting at the moment... I'm kinda just living to get from one place to another. My main goal is the trip around the globe I plan to take next summer starting in June.
Currently working for Health Canada doing Geoinformatics work... (Mapping and stuff. It's pretty cool!)
Not much on the go besides that. Trying to decide the course I want my life to take for the foreseeable future. It's not an easy task... So many variables. So much confusion. So much pulling from different sides... *sigh* I'm sure I'll work my way through it though.
I'm especially surprised and confused as to where I've wound up in my life... I expected a change when I entered the "real world" but honestly I expected there to be more time for drinking and video games. Especially the latter. I've gone from avid gamer to someone who loses at Halo3 to BROCK of all people >.< (I beat him yesterday at least.)
Moreoever, the time I spend tinkering with computers and electronics hardware has dwindled significantly. I attribute this largely to the time I now spend with Luke (since he's totally uninterested in those sorts of things.) He seems to be uninterested in many of the things I do... I wonder where that'll lead us.
Incidentally he and I have been dating for 1 1/3 years now... Hard to believe. Nobody else has lasted that long in my life lol. I wonder how he's different, given our apparent lack of shared interests. Might have something to do with the fact that he's never dated anyone before.
I should probably shut up xD I doubt he'd like all these details about us appearing online, but then again I don't really see the harm in it. This'll be something interesting to read in the years to come... Much like so many of my other LJ posts ROFL!
