So we have this phone list that we keep on the refrigerator: neighbors, chinese takout, dance studio, aunts, veternarian...
and then there's my friends, though only Claire's number (and her gate code, and her cell phone, and her mom's cell phone, and dad's cell phone) and Emily's number are listed.
Today I was thinking about how after I started dating Bryan, my parents added his number to the list. Three days after we broke up, my dad took his name off the list and printed a new phone list.
I didn't even have to ask him.
I think that was one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. Really.
My parents are pretty great.
