we tried to fly kites today. the first was a really cheap (free, in fact) one that amber had that looked like a butterfly. it didn't work too well, so i got out the big paro kite and put it all together, got new string and attached it, and it didn't work either. i was disappointed. we may have gotten it to work, but by that time there were ( Read more... )

so. this is crazy because i think you might be this fellow from my school... and... yep. but in one of your entries it says your 19?? that's cool, but i though you were a sophmore.... in highschool. and i thought you would live in owatonna, because i go to school in owatonna. but right now, i could also be commenting to a complete stranger. which you are anyways. i just know your name.

Hi,this is Rhett Sutter(Ryan,Reed,and Robbie's older brother).I've been writing my own stuff since Robbie was born(that made me 8 then),and it's fun to read your thoughts.I've gone through so many stages,many years of frantic,prolific songwriting(86-94),years where not much came to fruition(the next 5 years),and lots of wonderful other creative times.The last 5 have been the greatest of them all creatively speaking.Being as my music tends to require skill and subtlety to play,and I have limited studio time,I've found something profound but honest:surround myself with seasoned(25 plus years of musicianship),who pick up parts fast,AND WHO DON"T WRITE THEIR OWN STUFF!!Being in bands with more than 2 writers just means everyone will end up sacrificing something.I should say though,2 writers can compliment each other well,IMHO ( ... )

ha. so comes the real reason for you post. just kidding. thank you for the advice. but i can't really give a yes or a no on the october ridge thing yet, but keep in in contact around mid to late summer and we'll have a better idea.
