(no subject)
shit's been busy. very very busy. i signed up for it all and i'm not complaining, but in one of my few nights to myself i just thought i'd let everyone know that John Martin is still alive and well.
Bat Boy is alot of fun. i love the role i have, along with the things i get to do, and i love working with a whole crop of new people that i've never worked with. not to mention i am extremely excited for all my friends to come and see it. even Daryle is coming to see it on my birthday, which has me even more excited.
classes are classes. it's all basically acting so no complaints there. i don't know if i wrote about this before or not, but i have a job on campus now, building sets, painting sets, and taking sets apart. the other day i got to take a wooden "sink" outside and i beat the hell out of it with a hammer. it really is the little things in life.
despite all the shit that's been going on, women still confuse the shit out of me. i'm learning not to worry about it so much though. last week i got some girl's phone number at petsmart. i still haven't called her, because after thinking about it i realized that most of the time that i was talking to her, i wasn't all that interested in her. i think i just got her number for the hell of it, to prove to myself that i could. just because i'm not calling her doesn't make me a dick, though. you ladies owe me.
my birthday is october 13th. there's still time to buy me presents. if you don't get me a present, don't say it was because you didn't know.
yesterday i got the new foo fighters cd, the new iron & wine cd, and the deluxe edition of blue october's most recent albulm. interpret this as you will, this is just me letting you know what's pouring through my ears lately. i recommend "Let It Die" by the Foo Fighters, "Pagan Angel and a Borrowed Car" by Iron & Wine, and the live version of "Hate Me" by Blue October. the lead singer just sounds much more emotional.
and with all that said and done, i'm gonna sit here and listen to more music. peace!
