I think it would be best if I actually listened to them before I made any comments, hence my, er, non-commenting.

I was really putting them up out of appreciation for the lyrics, though. Otherwise I would have carefully transcribed the music, and we'd all have nodded in agreement over the quality gatherings of tied semiquavers.

My second excuse is that I'm not very good at analysing song lyrics. Lyrics tend to have more symbolism that things like plot lines or characterisation, and it's not my forte.
