OXFAM are recruiting for volunteers to work at UK festival up and down the country

The charity is looking for keen, honest and reliable people to help steward at Leeds, Glade, WOMAD, Cornbury, Bloom, Summer Sundae and Glastonbury.

To steward you must be 18 or over and willing to work 3 x 8 hour shifts. In return, OXFAM will provide you with full training, a separate camping area with toilets and showers, a meal ticket per shift, a chance to make new friends and the opportunity to help raise £800,000 for OXFAM.

According to one recent volunteer, who worked at Reading: “This is a life changing experience. I’ve been to a fair number of raves, festivals and shindigs. Everbybody I have met has been amazingly friendly.

"If you could improve stewarding it would only be to supply a hotel room, rider and backstage passes. It was fantastic!"
