The Third Time's A Charm [Chapter 1]
Eli jolted awake from his nap on the couch when he heard a female voice shouting outside.
"Yah, where are you? Yeah.. what? There's no one here."
He got up and opened the door. A girl of about 17 was talking on the phone, and when she saw him, she shut it off. Glaring at her, he said, "Are you lost?" He thought she looked familiar.
She stared at him, unfazed by the fact that the Eli Kim was standing in front of her. "No, I know where I am. And apparently, I'm at the right place."
"Who are you?"
She pushed past him and went into the house. "Shin Soojin."
Turning around and leaning on the doorjamb, he looked at her. "So you're Soohyun's sister."
Soojin sat herself on the couch. "That's right. Where is he, anyway?"
Eli pointed his index finger up. "Still sleeping, I guess."
"Who said I was sleeping?" a deep voice boomed from upstairs, and in the next instant, Soohyun was there.
Soojin rolled her eyes. "Shut up, you lazy ass. You didn't even open the door for me."
Soohyun raised his hands in defeat. "I'm sorry, okay? I was looking over some paperwork."
"You don't have any paperwork to look over. You're a singer, not a businessman."
"Yeah, whatever. Come here and give your oppa a hug."
Soojin stared at him for a few moments, and then stood up to hug him. "It's good to see you."
Soohyun pulled away to take a good look at his sister. "You too. Wow, you've gotten prettier!"
"Thanks. You too."
He put an arm around her shoulders and smiled at Eli, who was feeling rather left out. "You've met my sister, Soojin. Soojin, well, you know who this is."
"I think a proper introduction is needed. I'm Shin Soojin," she said, smiling and extending her hand for him to shake.
Looking at her more closely, Eli noticed that the siblings' eyes were very similar, and that Soojin was quite pretty. "Eli Kim, Korean name Kyoung Jae. Call me Eli."
Soojin opened her mouth to retort, but Soohyun elbowed her in the ribs. "So~ now that you guys are acquainted, why don't you chat for a while? I'm gonna go to Myeong-dong to pick up something. And Soojin, you can do whatever you want here."
"Yeah, I'll be sure to remember that." Soohyun kissed her forehead and left.
An awkward silence descended once they were left alone. After a few moments, Soojin mumbled, "I'm gonna get something to eat."
"Yeah, go ahead," Eli said, the tone of his voice more than a little awkward. He sat on the couch and switched on the TV.
Once Eli wasn't looking, Soojin crept upstairs to his room.

Kiseop went home from the gym, dead tired. He turned off his car's engine and got out. While walking towards the front door, he saw a pair of boxers with the name 'Eli' scribbled on the garter on the hedge.
He laughed, shaking his head. "Well, Soojin must be here already."
The door burst open and Soojin ran outside. "Oh, Soojin!"
She flew into Kiseop's arms, almost knocking him down. "Kiseop oppa! I've missed you!"
Kiseop chuckled and said, "I missed you too. And," he added in a low voice, "I saw the boxers."
Soojin pulled away, an expression of shock on her face. "Don't tell him!"
"Of course, we wouldn't want to lose the element of surprise." Kiseop winked at her and she smirked.
"Yah, where are you? Yeah.. what? There's no one here."
He got up and opened the door. A girl of about 17 was talking on the phone, and when she saw him, she shut it off. Glaring at her, he said, "Are you lost?" He thought she looked familiar.
She stared at him, unfazed by the fact that the Eli Kim was standing in front of her. "No, I know where I am. And apparently, I'm at the right place."
"Who are you?"
She pushed past him and went into the house. "Shin Soojin."
Turning around and leaning on the doorjamb, he looked at her. "So you're Soohyun's sister."
Soojin sat herself on the couch. "That's right. Where is he, anyway?"
Eli pointed his index finger up. "Still sleeping, I guess."
"Who said I was sleeping?" a deep voice boomed from upstairs, and in the next instant, Soohyun was there.
Soojin rolled her eyes. "Shut up, you lazy ass. You didn't even open the door for me."
Soohyun raised his hands in defeat. "I'm sorry, okay? I was looking over some paperwork."
"You don't have any paperwork to look over. You're a singer, not a businessman."
"Yeah, whatever. Come here and give your oppa a hug."
Soojin stared at him for a few moments, and then stood up to hug him. "It's good to see you."
Soohyun pulled away to take a good look at his sister. "You too. Wow, you've gotten prettier!"
"Thanks. You too."
He put an arm around her shoulders and smiled at Eli, who was feeling rather left out. "You've met my sister, Soojin. Soojin, well, you know who this is."
"I think a proper introduction is needed. I'm Shin Soojin," she said, smiling and extending her hand for him to shake.

"Yeah, I'll be sure to remember that." Soohyun kissed her forehead and left.
An awkward silence descended once they were left alone. After a few moments, Soojin mumbled, "I'm gonna get something to eat."
"Yeah, go ahead," Eli said, the tone of his voice more than a little awkward. He sat on the couch and switched on the TV.
Once Eli wasn't looking, Soojin crept upstairs to his room.

He laughed, shaking his head. "Well, Soojin must be here already."

Kiseop chuckled and said, "I missed you too. And," he added in a low voice, "I saw the boxers."
Soojin pulled away, an expression of shock on her face. "Don't tell him!"
"Of course, we wouldn't want to lose the element of surprise." Kiseop winked at her and she smirked.
