I've just finished reading the first four chapters of my HRR book and it has left me in a very morbid, very tragic state. The setting is Texas in the 1950s and the plot revolves around 3 best friends, Prince of Power, Prince of Charm and Prince of Temptation. On the night before their graduation, they have a drink fest in an old shack in the middle of a storm. They rescue a girl named Laurie who ran away from home and rape her one by one. She dies and they throw her body in the river.
