(no subject)
I seem to be getting an entry in every 2 days, strange. I don't dothat on purpose xp Some days just aren't good for the pic taking it seems ;p
Today Tony was gonna polish up the mini so it would look niiiiiice, and have all the runs and shiny patches gone xD But best laid plans etc...I went to get some crome polish from Halfords before I went to the garage and then as I left and headed toward the EP, I thought I heard a can split in the back of my car, (where I keep the red bulls ;D) so I pulled over into Staples car park as soon as I reached it to try and save my carpet, only when I jumped out the car and started looking for the split one there wasn't one...and I hunted the sound down to the outside where the engine was trying to be a massive giveaway by letting all the water it could find in itself out as steam. So I called Tony and he came up on his bike from the garage as he has AA cover. It was a small pipe we had thought may go only it's a bitch to replace, so we were hoping the AA guy would do it XD As soon as he saw what was wrong he was like 'noooooo' and said he wouldn't do it on the roadside as he'd loose all the bold as he took the engine apart etc to reach the pipe. So he towed the mini down to the garage, he was quite nice about it all really, once he realised I didn't have cover though he got me so I bought it so now I'll have it for the future. So far the AA have been really good so I kinda trust them even though they are exy.
The job in the end wasn't as bad as it'd been hyped up to be on my Mini, perhaps other minis are different, but it took Tony and Ron just over an hour to dismantle the radiator, put the pipe in and put it all back together again. Nice! So the mini didn't get it's clean this time, maybe next week ;D At least it works still!!
