[She just talked to him a few hours ago, but now that she's allowed to leave the Center again it's time to catch up on what she might have missed in terms of updates and things from her friends-- well, aside from the ones in Johto, more specifically any updates from Zuko. That's when she saw this video.

So have Katara looking both concerned and thoughtful.]

Well it's not really easy. You can't really stop because what if they show up and then you miss it because you weren't checking? But... I think if you've made enough friends here you can count on someone to get in touch with you the moment someone from your home appears. That way at least you don't have to torture yourself by looking every week. [She just "saw" her friends so maybe she's lucky and realizes she shouldn't be due to complain for a while. She doesn't know about Azula JUST yet.]

[Voice] (Yeah but Mordi is chilling on the center roof for now.)

Yeah. I guess I just miss Rigby, mostly. He's kinda like my little brother. He's the one that's really got me feelin' homesick.

[A pause, before..] You sound like you're doing better.

[Voice] (Understood, and sorry! I always end up reading 'Video' as voice somehow.)

Well... if you tell me what he's like then I'll be sure to keep my ears open if he shows up. I'll help in any way I can. [She doesn't like the idea of Mordecai ending up in the same depressed state she had been when Sokka first disappeared, but realistically that moment may have come and gone or already be on him now. She'll try though.]

I feel a lot less dizzy, so they thought some fresh air might do me some good. I'm not really allowed to wander too far though.

[She's standing out front of the Center actually, just taking in the night air.]

....You'll know him, Kat. You'll know him. Basically, take your buddy Ed and make him even MORE of a spaz, and that's Rigby.

And y'know... fresh air feels a lot better when you're not so close to the ground.

[He sees her, all right... in fact, when he spies her just standing around below him, Mordi takes off the blue beanie he'd shown up in Johto with and just casually drops it down, not wanting to SCARE the girl, but certainly not finding anything wrong with giving her a HOLY FUCK WHAT JUST LANDED ON MY FACE moment.]

[She grins, that's the first time anyone's given her a nickname that wasn't, like... sugar queen or... peasant... or... something like that.

Then she laughs outright at the description. Before she gets a chance to reply something hits her head and slides onto her face a little-- Mordecai would hear a yelp and see her instinctively make a grab for it, blink, and then look up with a smirk.]

I see. Guess I could join you and see for myself. [She waves a bit with his hat, then heads back into the Center to get directions up to the roof, reassuring Joy that she's NOT going to try anything crazy.]

[And by the time she finally convinces Joy that she just wants to talk to the slacker that is parked up there, Mordi is totally chillin' like... well, a guy that isn't really a villain.]

Took you long enough. Here I thought you would've just found the stairs on your own, Kat.

[Katara offers Mordecai an amused, if not embarrassed grin, immediately enjoying the breeze as she goes to take a seat nearby.]

Well I had to convince Nurse Joy I wasn't going to jump or fall off as soon as I got to the top, was more the problem.

[She tosses the cap back at him, aiming it to land on his face.]

You're right, it's pretty nice up here.

[The cap lands on his face before Mordecai tugs it into his lap, shaking his head and chuckling.]

So... you were really... like, back home last week? I think I overheard you saying something like that to Eddie. [Wow, way to not start an awkward conversation, Mordi.]

[Action] D: Noooo that's terrible!

Seemed like it to me, though I guess it was sort of a dream? It's kinda weird and sounds really crazy, I know. [She smiles sheepishly and sits down next to him then. Compared to some conversations she's had in the past this one is a walk in the park~] It was like I was right back where I started before I came here, like I was coming out of a daze.

[Action] But it's not as many as four tens yet!

[Mordecai nods, punctuating each nod of his head with a 'Hm. Hm.' noise before glancing up at the stars.]

Who's to say? Maybe this place is the dream and we're all stuck in it together. I mean... I bet if you go home for keeps, the stuff you did last week will be for real, but the stuff here won't.

[Though that brings another curious thought to his head in his slightly morose state.]

...Did you remember Johto?

Not really, no. I almost felt like I wasn't really there, though. It's really strange. I guess that would be for the best, otherwise everyone would find out about this place and some people might try to get back, but I hate to think that I'd forget the friends I've made here, or the other way around.

[She thinks about Claire and Giotto.]
