Christmas Market

Well I have just gotten back from my innebandy match on the other side of town. We won 6-5, it was a great match. I had an assist and my line played really well, it was the top line so that was pretty fun. We play in a series against all the teams in the south part of stockholm, and I live in the northwest. So it takes 45-60minutes to get to every away game. But it is a lot of fun, so I have no problem with the travel. Today before my match my host family took me to Sigtuna. That is a little town almost at the airport which is about 30 minutes north of where I live. Every year during this time of year Sigtuna has a Julmarknad(christmas market in swedish). Its where you can buy a lot of things that have to do with christmas. There are some foods that are only made around christmas, and you can get ordaments, clothes, and a lot of nice things.

Sigtuna is also known for how old it is. It has ruins from the viking period. So I went to some of them, it was the oldest thing i have ever touched in my life!! We were in Sigtuna for about 3 hours, and I enjoyed it very much. The only thing was it was -11C, which for me was COLD! I have not been in that cold of weather in a long time. But it was another experience non the less.
