I'm so wicked tired and I work tomorrow, which is supposed to be my day off but I'm too nice so... yeah. I just wanted to jot some stuff down while it was fresh in my mind.
I can't believe the package got to you in time for Christmas. *faints dead away* That's awesome! :D
I in fact, did not know that you were a fan of Gautemalan coffee. I just seem to guess right with you, lol. The mugs were pretty, and nice and big. I could picture you with some coffee or tea as you read or wrote so they seemed the way to go. ;) Glad you like them.
I know Birds isn't Nightwing, but it's written by a kick-butt lady, it's about some kick-butt ladies, and they, well you know, kick butt. ;) So I thought it might be up your alley.
I thought/hoped you might not have that Duncan cd. I know you like his music, so I took a chance.
I got your card and I wanted to say thank you. It's not very Christmas-y around here this year, but you, Barb, and Mel have helped add some Christmas cheer to my place, so thank you very much. :)
Here's a little story...
I ended up working Christmas eve so a buddy of mine could be with his family (my family's plans for that day got squashed anyway so it seemed like the right thing to do). Lo and behold, what do you know, my brother Christopher and his girlfriend, my mom, and my brother Josh all ended up coming in to my work and hanging out together. We are never, seriously NEVER all together like that (too bad Parker wasn't around, but still, it was awesome). I was wishing so bad that I had had a camera with me to capture the moment b/c I don't have many pictures of us all together these days. It was wonderful. :)
I saw your holiday pic spam and I have to say your place looks wonderfully festive, welcoming, and cozy. :)
I'm off to my grandparent's place shortly. It turns out my uncle is okay. I don't know all the details but it was in no way anything serious. I'm very thankful for that. :)
Thank you Maygra, for the warm wishes and kind thoughts. *hugs ya* God bless, peace, and love.
I'm thrilled with the CD and Very excited about read BoP. You did very good, Red. (And yes, even the little bag at the bottom since I use those to take my lunch into work and all sorts of things. I love handled paper bags. Greatest invention ever.
