Don't ask, don't tell?

I love this photo for a very particular reason. It reminds me of the time Parker and I had an impromptu staring contest in the middle of a military surplus store. We had a habit of (and probably still do) randomly, unprovokedly starting shenanigans, harmless, goofy, and pointless, but shenanigans nonetheless. We were with our buddy Scott, and without discussing it Parker and I found ourselves locked in a stare off. Scott has always been a bit skittish and timid. He was begging us to knock it off. He was afraid the grizzled veteran running the place might mistake us for being "fancy" and boot our behinds out of there. I think Scott's terror that we'd get him in trouble with our stare off is what finally ended the contest, because if I remember correctly both Parker and I were so amused at Scotty's disconcertion that we both broke down laughing.

It's not much of a story, but it is a nice memory.
