Tapping That
So you guys are familiar with the shenanigans and inappropriate behavior of my brothers and I by now. Well I texted Christopher today and it went like this:
Me: How are you bro?
Lindsay on Christopher's phone without me knowing it: I'm fine, but I'm very hot!
Me: Of course you're fine and very hot, bro, in fact, if you weren't my brother I'd be tapping that.
Christopher on Christopher's phone: That was Lindsay bro. It is so hot here! And it was busy this morning. Everything is pretty good here, but now I am worried about Lindsay because I am worried that she's getting sick now.
Me: Oh no! Call mom if you guys need anything, you know she'll take care of you, hook you up with cold medicine, whatever.
Lindsay on Christopher's phone: I will just take Chris' medicine
Lindsay on Christopher's phone: What is mean tapping?
Me: It's not as funny since it was you I was inappropriate to, or maybe it's even funnier.
Lindsay on Christopher's phone: Chris says it's even funnier.
Me: Okay, true enough.
Christopher on Christopher's phone: It cracked me up when she said, dear, what does tapping mean?
Me: That is kind of the best. ;D
For those of you who don't know, my sister in law is from China, and though her English is really darn good, some of our slang still escapes her. :)
