HOWEVER. There is no possible way she can end up with anyone but Peeta. Not because he's loved her forever or whatever, but because no matter how perfect Gale was - that was before she went into the arena. And that changes her (everyone. Can we talk a minute about how much I LOVE Haymitch? Holy Mother of God.) and Peeta gets that.
Plus - we SEE her falling for him. She thinks it's all for the story but it's actually happening. I mean, maybe I'll see the Gale thing more at the end of it but right now? Yeah. Peeta all the way.
It's stuff like that that makes me want to hug her and shake her simultaneously. Like - she's decided to NOT feel things. But she does. But she thinks they're the wrong things!
Like, she's determined to be very removed and cut off. But she wants Peeta with her, pretty much always. But she thinks that if she did 'feel' things, she would have wanted to marry Gale.
Yeah, I'm working on things diligently for like half an hour and then having a fit of 'I NEED TO BE READING'. I was just being SUPER productive and can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

That is what I'm kind-of stuck on at the moment. I have a few more hours of work, then it is all about finishing Catching Fire and reading Mockingjay.
