they don't give a fuck about you, like i do

Seriously.

Just when I'm getting completely upset about leaving my flat (I'm about to break down in tears every other moment, for total serious. I LOVE IT HERE. *sniff*) my neighbours come to the rescue.

Last night, the dude next door had people over and they were playing Pearl Jam's Ten at ear-splitting decibels. They were also singing, drunkenly, along. This went on pretty much all night.

And just now I was sitting out on my patio, reading, basking in the sunshine and the girl next door stumbles out on to her balcony, with her friend. They're both completely hung over (obvious in both their appearance and the way they're now SHOUTING about it. Like, if you're that hung over, pipe the fuck down. I don't think the guy three blocks over heard.) and now they're smoking weed and listening to Phish.

Like, what the hell? It's like being an undergrad again.

Oi.

Now I'm going back to packing. And weeping. And contemplating what I'm going to have for dinner, now that I've packed up all my plates and utensils. I have an apple, a lemon, some tea, milk, and half a kielbosa left in my fridge. Sounds appetizing, eh?

Briefly, two things that are probably going to get me kicked out of fandom.

1 -

Long story short - whatever.

Long story long - I have such fucking problems with Pam it's not even funny. Yes, it's lovely that she finally got a spine or whatever. I'm happy for her. But - her speech at the end of last season made me see fucking RED. You want your best friend back? Too bad. You stomped on his heart and I'm sorry you feel bad and that you miss him, but you made your bed and sometimes you've just got to lie down in it. Brief aside - Supernatural in five sleeps!

But really? My rage is mostly centered around Karen and the way she was pretty much dismissed, like she didn't even deserve a goodbye or even a kiss my ass.

Karen was AWESOME. She was funny and strong and hot and went after what she wanted. But she was a man-stealing whore, right?

But when Pam finally sacked up and was strong and went after what she wanted, people threw her a parade.

GAH.

And I can't even be happy for Jim (which I want to so badly because he's finally happy) because of the aforementioned dismissal of Karen.

However - Dwight and Angela and Toby continue to own all. And Ryan as Michael's boss is sheer brilliance.

2 - Bionic Woman held my interest for approximately three seconds. And Katee Sackhoff is pretty much the opposite of attractive. I've never thought she was hot, but I thought it was just my extreme dislike of Starbuck colouring my perception. But that doesn't seem to be it; I just don't find her attractive.

You can commence with the flogging and defriending now.
