- I just realized I left my phone in my car. Which means I have no way to communicate with the outside world (except, obviously, this, but whatever) because I don't have a land line. Of course, I don't have a couch or any mirrors in my place either, so. When staying at casa parker's? It's all wood floors and figuring you look okay since your clothes still fit.
It's a weird feeling. It's not as if I'm particularly attached to my phone; I'm one of those people who can go days without actually talking to other people. But, still. Weird.
I should also mention that I'm looking at my car right now. It's on the street behind my place. But it's late, I'm tired and have to be at work in six and a half hours and, okay, yeah, I'm just lazy. But fuck if I'm walking up and down three flights of stairs.
- I finally caught Heroes and Studio 60 last night (no tv from mid June until I crumbled the week of Supernatural and I had to have the Winchester boys right then and not wait for a download. Hi! My name's parker and I'm an addict.) and um. Liked Studio 60, but I'm still waiting for Brad Whitford to not be Josh and come on, there's only one, true Danny. But Matt Perry was really working for me; there was no Chandler Bing in sight. But I think my fan is broken because Heroes? Meh. I actually couldn't comment on much of it because my attention kept wandering.
- What's up with the new Veronica Mars credits? And why am I having uncomfortable flashbacks from season 3 of Alias?
- Caught Prison Break last night and it got me all kerfuffled again.
- Finally finished
Shadow of the Wind and you should all read it. It's very...Spanish, if you know what I mean. And I'm a sucker, so. Melodrama! Mystery! Death! Incest! It's awesome.
- I've not even cracked open my copy of
Only Revolutions because just thinking about it makes my head hurt. And I have heard...not good things about it.
- Right now it's
An Abundance of Katherines and
Grayson and I'm going to listen to
The Thirteenth Tale on my way to my parents house tomorrow. Next in the pipe are
Thirteen Moons and
Disgrace. Re: Disgrace - it may take time, but I'm determined to make my way through
The Guardian's top books of the last 25 years, of which that was voted #1.
- I really want Nelly Furtado's new album. I loved 'Promiscuous', I adore 'Do It' and I'm having a passionate affair with 'Maneater'. So. New fun music. Yay!
