So Noel im-ed me today and said that he was upset because having today be the day that we went into iraq a year ago, there was a war protest at the capital. Well i told Noel that we should go thier and protest them, or at least give our side of the story. So we did. We fachioned these awsome signs. An we both wore our Protest Warrior t-shirts. Here are the signs
WHen we got thier we sized up the competition and found that many of thier signs had holes in them.
this one was especially interesting. Because i think, and im not sure, but i think that we had to pay a great price for freedom, when we founded this country. And then again in ww2 for the jews, oh and then again recently in Iraq for the Millions of people Saddam was torturing. I dont think freedom is free. Maybe he just forgot about those and 9/11.
Well once the other protestors caught on to the fact that our sings were for the war and Bush, they pulled a classic liberal move and decided to play dirty. We never once spoke to them or provoked them in any way, but they turn to petty bashing, when thier weak ideals are threatened.
That sign that guys is holding says "If you like the war, then enlist"
They actually cared enough to make signs while we were there to make fun of and bash us, how old are these people.
All in all it was a good day
