The snow falls hard, but Kihyun doesn't mind. He's inside, warm and cozy. He can hear Hoseok in the living room, cleaning up after one of their cats. He stands in front of the stove, staring out the window as he works on dinner.
A few minutes later Hoseok walks into the kitchen, dumping a pile of trash into the can near the door. When he's done, he crosses the room and wraps his arms around Kihyun's shoulders. They stand that way, without talking, looking out over the stove and at the snow.
Kihyun turns, pressing his mouth against Hoseok's. He's happy like this, happy with him. Happy even when it's cold and gross outside.
