I'm so relieved that SATs are over... I remember kind of dreading them all of my high school years to this point, and now....
They're over.
It's a weird feeling...
On Sunday I bought two books, and saw happy things. I went on an errand adventure with Pap and picked up the 4th book in the "Souther Vampire Novel" series, which is just soo funny and edge-of-your-seat-like. I really love these books. (The first one is called Dead Until Dark, go read it.) I love the titles, and the cover art is always so cute. It's actually what made me look at it... (
hee) They look like kids' books, but oh man are they not. Definitely not for the young-ins, with the blood and that one part with the dead body and flies... good series though. Oh yes, and ELVIS!
I think it's the only known situation where an author pulled off and Elvis vampire. A.k.a. Bubba. But... ahh I laughed so hard.
"Pam was thoughtful enough to fetch the blood, and Bubba took a big swig. 'Not as good as a cat's, but mighty fine just the same. Thank you, thank you very much.'"
I got the fourth book in the Kimi wa Pet/You're a Pet/Tramps Like Us comic series. Rachael and I are currently into the drama series based on it, and have become hard-core Momo fans. (The 20-year-old-human-male-pet.) It had a little cat. And by god it was adorable. I adore cats... I wish I could have one...
I also got laminate! I'm all set for supplies and pocky-bag making!
I know we have tents and such for the festival, but do we have enough in the ways of tables?
Tell me what I need to make/get, or join in, so we can be ready as soon as we can!
...And I still need ideas for pocky bags. Like I said, I don't have enough designs of non-asian-musicians yet... Just... 3. One cat, a trickle stream, and a staircase.
Flowers, maybe?
