I attempt a review.

The things you find when just... looking around...
Started serving asian music again, but all that's been requested has been Japanese... (not much of a surprise considering the audience... >.>)
However, I finally managed to find Psycho le Cemu PVs! And... wow.
I feel like I'm watching power rangers meets godzilla meets pokemon plus some little kids sing along. Only... not. It's just weird. And so, I am amused. (Especially when the guy in the pink and the drummer in Heian era garb start synchronized dancing. That was just ... bizarre.)

In other news, I saw Ju-on: The Grudge about 10 minutes ago. Compared to the American version, it was a bit of a disappointment. (My mom and I knew exactly what was going to happen to some of the people. And were right.) Usually I'd rather promote the originals, but this was just.... one death after another. Everytime somebody's "scene" would end, (aka they died) the screen would go black and it'd have someone's name on it. Thus, we'd know who was next. Very much a: let's move on to the next one! -as if we were watching a slide show. I must say that the girl who left her three friends in the haunted house, only to find out they'd gone missing, was a "treat" compared to the rest. It wasn't in the re-make, and was pretty damn scary (zombie school girls!!!). Also, it was one of the more original scenes. The others were pretty much the same. (Enter house, ears start ringing, scream, see person on all fours, stumble down stairs, hear scary noise, run out of house. Repeat as necessary until death occurs.)

The other thing was that there was lack of closure, and once again, I found the little boy horribly adorable by the second half of the movie. (I mean, sure, he's deathly pale, runs around naked, and has bloody cuts on his face and legs, but come on... look at that face!) This happened in both versions, though, and probably has to do with me loving little kids of his age, particularly little asian kids with pudgy faces. and he is one of those. Heh.. so cute. XD

If you plan on seeing either The Grudge or Ju-on, I'd recommend the previous. Same director, but the scary things vary from scene to scene, and the pacing doesn't seem as cut and pasted as the original. The beginning is almost exact, though it doesn't feel like you're watching a badly redone beginning, for it is actually better in the second version.

However, if you're someone like me who just wants to see that cute little dead boy, both versions should work. Same actor. (Warp!) :D
