Prom/Championships '06

Prom: Well it definatly came and went lol...Prom in a nutshell had it's ups and downs but I enjoyed it as much as I possibly could. Getting ready beforehand was very aggervating due to just the stressors of making sure everything was perfect. Sorry to the people who I was a bitch to, I just was very stressed out. Andrew picked me up around 5 o'clock or so and we took pictures, exchanged the traditional flowers, and then headed off to Amy's house for pictures with the rest of the group we were going to dinner with. After taking about what I would like the think was a billion pictures in the sweltering heat, the limo came for those who were going in it and Andrew & I left to head to Bucco Di Beppo's to meet them there. Well if we would have known that we would be sitting there for an hour and a half, we probably wouldn't have done that. Seriously dinner in my opinion was kind of dumb, not b/c of the people we were with but b/c of the fact that we had to wait for such a long time and it only took us like 20 minutes to order, eat, and pay. It was kind of stupid. By the time we finally sat down, andrew was about to rip his face off from hunger and the fact that his contacts were killing him. I felt so bad for him, but after making a special stop at good ol' Walgreens he was feeling better. "I can't believe I paid that much for this." After flying down I4 we finally got to Universal at around 9PM and walked through the parking garage and the park sticking out like sore thumbs. lol. Definatly got alot of compliments but then again we got alot of stares as well. Talk about breaking off from the norm! Hard Rock was a great place to have dance in my opinion, it wasn't too crowded, but then again it was kind of large for just the senior class. But I am glad that we weren't packed in like sardines in a can. Prom king and queen was an upset most definatly, due to that fact that it was the same people as homecoming king and queen, blah! The music could have been better, too much spanish. After the dance walked back to the car and drove off into the twilight. It kind of sucked that it was daylight savings time mode again b/c we really got out of prom at one in the morning. Andrew and I hung out for a little while before I went home around 3ish. The night was a success in a way, thanks Andrew for making it special for me.

Championships: Got to UCF @ about 12:30 and warmed up for about 2 hours before we performed at 3. Our show was a pretty good run for us, but since we weren't in our correct division, I wasn't expecting anything more than last place. (which is what we got) The funny thing about our performance was the fact that our backdrop broke right as we were going to go on. So one of the mom's had to stand behind it and hold it up. I am glad we went on the second day due to the recruiting opportunities that were there to promote audtions for next season (UCF, Sapphire, Storm, etc...) Signed up for all of them to figure out which one would be best for me. Yesterday was long has heck though, the awards ceremony took forever since we were the first to receive awards, we had to stand there the entire time while all others accepted their placements. My legs were going to fall off by the time they were done. It hit me as Mr. Gallagher was talking to us at the end, that this was my last competion with this group. I was kind of sad, due to the fact that this season really flew by. Finally came home around 9:30ish, ate, showered, and went to sleep.

Today is Senior Skip day! Hell yes, but you wanna know what I am doing, absolutely nothing! Well Laundry, read my book, and make up work for spring show are on my priority list, but I might be too lazy to do any of that ::wink::
Have fun today!
