Whew, what a week at MDA camp! We arrived fashionably late, as I told everyone, but certainly better than not at all. It was really incredibly hot until Thursday when it cooled down a little and by Friday we were freezing. What is up with this weather? I could not possibly summarize the whole week because way too much went on. Cabin 1 and 2 boys were such fun. I had no idea Link had such a mouth on him and will forever smirk when I think of him telling the "7 year old bastards" to go F themselves. Totally not appropriate but yet funny. Marshal Field's did a great job with their Carnival Cruise Tuesday which concluded with an awesomely decorated dance in "Mexico". Prom... err, the Captain's Ball, went way too fast. Next year it should be 4 hours long. It was really a great week with lots of fun, despite getting into a little trouble the last night and which I am a little worried about. Quite honestly I had been second guessing my decision to volunteer again this year, mostly because of exhaustion, but once I was there I thought "How could I not volunteer again?". The experience is very worth the sun burn, bad food, mosquito bites and exhaustion. Check out my photos in the Camp '06 album at
