This whole immigrant protest today was dumb. First off, they readily made themselves available to be arrested by announcing that they are here illegally. Second, the point they were trying to make was that without them doing jobs for us, our business and economy would suffer. That just doesn't work for me. We could easily hire other people to do their jobs, who are legal residents. We could survive without them. I don't care if people want to come here and make a better life for themselves, but they need to do it the right way by going through the proper channels to become legal residents. Until they do, they cannot complain about fairness and equality.
