(no subject)
So yes, it's 4:13 AM and I'm still not asleep. Well, the reason for the last hour has been the rabbit. He can now jump out of his pen (the one that my parents bought for me for him to run around in--it's like one of those things you put a small child into so they don't cause mischief while you wash dishes). So tonight he's jumped out three times. One time I didn't even hear him get out, I was lying in bed with the lights off and I heard him walking on plastic. Well, there is no plastic in his pen. So obviously he was out. It took a while to find him, for he was off exploring.
Thus I cannot leave him in his pen at night or when I'm gone now, at least until I figure out a way to secure it. But his cage was still dirty from when he was being bunny-sat by some friends over the weekend (I hadn't put him in his cage since I got him home) and so I had to clean his cage before putting him in it for the night. It looks so small in comparison to the area he normally has. He doesn't like being in the cage, but that's what he gets for learning how to jump out of the pen.
