SW2, episode 2
Not as detailed as last week because my brain can't churn out stuff properly when buzzing with flu medication.
- Miyafuji is a living boob radar.
- Sakamoto is MANRY. Seto-san still can't do the laugh, but everything else is A+.
- So it was Hijikata! I had expected something more dark from that scene (eff you episode previews, always lying!) ...probably because of the whole conspiracy from last season.
- Sakamoto can't stop flying extra points if you get this reference but she's lost some of the extreme "suicidal" edge, which is good.
- Staff, what on earth were you lot thinking with the white schswi. And the cloak in the eyecatch was so much better than the raggedy brown one.
- I REPEAT, SAKAMOTO IS A TRUE MAN OF FUSO
- Someone enlighten me as to how the ship captain could spot Miyafuji's crest. I don't doubt that he could, but I don't understand the means by which he achieved it...she was so far up in the air...
- HOORAY FOR SHIRLEY'S RABBIT EARS TWITCH idgaf about the boob vibrations
- Reunion of the legendary 501st: absolutely wonderful, awesome, breath-taking(ry. Teamwork at its finest. I was initially annoyed about the recycled animation, but then someone pointed out that it was probably intended to be a hook in the previous episode.
- The cause of Sakamoto's face lighting up revealed to be the Karlslanders, or some say Minna...it makes story sense no actually it doesn't nothing in SW makes sense but there goes my hopes of seeing Takei ;_;
- Hartmann is further entrenched into the role of tsukkomi \o/
- Sanya is either completely black on the inside or a lovely pure white. If Starlight Stream is any indication, it's the former...whatever happened to the cute bashful taciturn little girl :'(
- When the part about "negotiating with local authorities" came up in the orders, my first thought was "Commander's going to get more wrinkles again..." ^^;;;;;;
- Galland is mentioned but not shown. Can I hope for her to at least be flashed on screen once in this season??!
- Congrats to Eila finally getting promoted! We all knew she did it for love~ Humikane all but spelt it out explicitly on Twitter!
- Lynne too, but it was already shown last week. Um, why am I saying it now then.
- Next ep preview: rumour has it the old lady is Raskova, who was mentioned in the fourth DVD booklet.
