I realized that the possibilities of paradox is no hindrance to time travel.
Why? Because the universe is already fully capable of surviving with contradictory events in place.
My proof?
I am, with no doubt and absolute certainty, the luckiest man alive. My girlfriend (make that fiancee *squee*) is the best girlfriend in the world. That is a known, incontrovertible, truth.
And yet, how many other people out there are also the luckiest man/woman alive? And how many people out there also have the best girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband/partner/what-have-you in the world?
That is a paradox, is it not? And yet the world goes on as normal.
See? Paradoxes obviously don't pose any problems.
Now we just need a time machine...
