acidic fury

i can feel the frustration jumping off of my skin
a static glow that consumes me
Set me on fire
Watch me fade away

A dammed damned river keeps solace at bay
Such indulgent waterflow
She pours salt upon the earth
And nothing will ever grow here, again.
