i apologize for the delay. but i just moved to texas and its hard to find time for LJ so you think you can dance updates. soooo aside from that...wooo for new so you think you can dance.
Sadly Im updating after the elimination so I cant make my predictions...but ill tell you they were pretty close...
Okay wednesday night. Danny and Anya - smooth waltz. wowzas. The two of them are real good. I cant wait to see some contemporary or broadway or hip hop or basically anything other than a ballroom. Granted we've seen two completely separate styles of ballroom I would like to see more. Aside from this...the two of them were flawless on that stage. It was seriously so elegant. And Danny is a huuuuge babe. Anya's cheek bones are out of control.
Sara and Jesus - Paso Doble. No No No on that song. The song was so weird. That being said...hot. I know i sound like a broken record but this season is so good...everyone is so talented and this is by far the highest level of competition we've seen so far. Sara is just crazy talented and i love when nigel goes...you clean up quite nice! haha. Jesus is fun. I like these kids lots.
Lacey and Kameron - Broadway. I feel like its pointless to type. The two of them are smoking. Like kameron is so hot I cant even take it. And Lacey is even hotter. Well not really. But they both are so hot. The routine was lame. I think they did a good job but Im not a huge tyce fan. I love love love them.
Sabra and D-trix - Contemporary. Mandy Moore contemp...thats new. I likessss. The dances seemed really slow tonight all the choreography was really slow. I noticed it most at the begining of this one. That being said the two of them were still stunning. Sabra amazes me every night. I am a little bit in love with her. And D-trix just keeps getting cuter and cuter...altough that toe shaving thing was uncomfortable.
Jaimie and Hok - Samba. Actually I thought this pair was pretty impressive. Jaimie's hair was a mess but compared to Hok I think it will always look nice. haha. The dance was fun. It wasnt like the cleanest most impressive ballroom but I was surprised and I liked them!
Jessi and Pasha - Jazz. haha. Those costumes. Then Mia was like "I love birds, and I love you" insanity. The dance was good. The choreography again wasnt stunning to me. But I think the two of them were great and I think that Pasha is growing on me more and more. I really get so excited thinking about this show because all the dancers are so inspiring to me. Like this season is sooooo gooooood.
Neil and Lauren - Hip Hop. OMG. Sweat. I had to literally wipe sweat from my brow. Sooo hot. Lauren's smile is becoming a little zombie-ish. I hope she tones that a little down because her dancing is good enough. Farrrrr good enough. Then there's neil. He was so hot in this number. Although this choreography was slow too. It was weird. Still real steamy.
Jimmy and Shauna - Hip Hop. I likeeeed! I think Shauna is fantastic. I really do. I dont love jimmy. haha. oh well. I guess it doesnt matter now anyway. I liked the stepping and I loved Jimmy's sweatshirt I also loved the timbs. They were cute and fun.
Cedria and Faina - Foxtrot. Boringgggg. I think Faina is funny. Cedric's skin weirds me out. But the two of them are good dancers. just not together. if there were ever a breaking.foxtrot. the two of them would be so good. haha. What can ya do.

Jessi and Pasha - really?!
I only saw jessi and shauna's solos. Jessi's was lackluster at best. Shauna's was so good. I think of all the dancers she has shocked me, pleasantly each week thus far. It doesnt surprise me that Jimmy went home because he was weird. From day one he was. I think of the three of them he was probably the most versatile...but if pasha keeps it up he will for sure beat jimmy out. too bad jimmy is dunzo. haha. what can you do.
The opening was hot. Im more of a fan of the less expansive choreography for the beginning...i like the big group numbers on the stage where everyone is showcased equally. I do appreciate the different inventive styles and I think this one was nothing short of spectacular. But I think that they are trying to hard now to stand out and unfortunately remaining similar in style and scale. But still well done!
Mia is nuts. I love her. I cant wait until next week. I want some more neil and lauren, kameron and lacey, and shauna.
