i totally haven't posted in almost a month-and-a-half...and it's been massively busy, although busyness tends to yield few sources of excitement. i did enjoy the playwriting workshop with Tomson Highway -- though it was not what i expected, and i found the collaborative nature of the enterprise daunting; i enjoyed the Rodin exhibit well enough; and (most exciting for me) got a ms crit from someone whose work i've admired for years (of course, this means the damned thing isn't as done as i though, but...*sigh*). mostly, though, i've been working on school -- only one more paper to go and i'm done with taking courses forever! unless i decide to go and do something else. then i might have to take more classes.
i firmly believe that november and december suck...at least, they mark a period of recurring depression. it's mostly okay now, although i find it takes much more energy than usual to be sociable. and my cat objects to my occasional soggy periods.
