a shiny love song a quick incision
I used to do a lot of mixtapes. Recording every good song I heard on the radio. Recording if there was a chance the next song might be good. Also I copied friends' cds on tapes.
It's funny cause whenever I hear a song I had on tape I remember which parts were bad (cassettes, right) or where the song suddenly ended because the side was full. And I always kind of expect these things to happen.
The reason I'm telling is because it's valentine's day and even though I don't much care about it - no, I kinda resent it, but anyway, someone posted this song in Facebook and I really really like this song so I listened to it and I used to have this album on tape, so there you have it.
These days this wouldn't work because there's no good music on the radio.
Besides, in a strange way Valentine's day is Friends' day here and it makes even less sense. Though this way it isn't connected to a religion that is a minor one here. But still it's the same, with the fluffy hearts and teddy bears and stuff you simply have to buy to have a good valentine's day. Friends' day. Whatevs.
