I believe the final chapter of Wind That Shakes The Seas and Stars, the fifth book in lightningwave's AU H/D fic of utter GENIUS, went up today. I stopped reading along a couple of chapters into Book 5, as this fic hits me like no other and I couldn't handle the suspense and trauma. Now that the book is complete, though, the time has come for me to plunge back

I am still farther than youuuuuuuu! And I am still so very very drunk from partying a few hours ago, and omg nauseous. Much much unpleasantness is in the future, I fear. But not with the fic, because the fic is always love.

Of course you are! I am only just starting on chapter 26, hahahahahahaha. I'm afraid I likely won't be able to finish it all today. But omg, Mary, the love. AND NARCISSA IN HER RED DRESS SO THE BLOOD WOULD NOT SHOW UP. Did I mention the love?

EEEEEEEEE I JUST FINISHED IT AND OMG LOVE. YOU WILL WAIL MUCH MORE, AND THERE ARE LOTS OF BOTH CRYING MOMENTS AND UTTER TRIUMPH, AND I AM SO VERY HAPPY THAT I FOUND THIS AUTHOR OMG. EEEEE.

But yes, nausea is a terrible, terrible thing. It is getting a bit better, and I have been sipping water all morning so as not to get dehydrated. The worst part is that it is making me unable to go back to sleep, and I've only had 3 hours of sleep so far today, woe. I might try and lay back down for a bit now, so I'll talk to you later. ♥

Looking back from the distance of a little more than a day, I've concluded that I ended up drinking a bit more than half a bottle of vodka... so really, I'm just happy that I didn't end up incredibly hung over and miserable. And I caught up on sleep last night, so all is now good.

So, what chapter are you up to?

I'm still at the end of 49 - I didn't have a chance to read any further yesterday, and I'm not sure whether I'll have time tonight, either. We'll see. After the trials, at any rate, and Harry's just heard that Bellatrix is doing evil things at Durmstrang.
