Well Vriska had been planning to go bother Haruhi. But she happens to leave her room at the same time that Federico walks into the apartment.

She pauses and stares at him, then brightens up and grins infuriatingly at him, "Oh hey theeeeeeeere! Are you that new roommate I read about?"

Perking up at the voice, Federico turns and sees...well, a girl with grey skin and orange eyes and...and good god were those horns? He thinks he sees fangs when she talks. What madness was this.

The confusion is written all over his face, but he tries to stay polite and not stare. "I suppose that I am," he replies, stepping in further. "My name is Federico Auditore. Who might you be?"

This is Sparta.

"Well aren't you polite!" Vriska snickers quietly, "Vriska Serket. Your accent's different from the other humans, huh?"

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Signorina Serket." He'll be as polite as possible until Vriska does something to warrant otherwise. Also, he gives a slight bow, because that is how he rolls. "Si, it is. The change is a bit...startling."

He begins to bring up the subject of her appearance as tactfully as he can manage. "You're...not quite human, are you?" So very tactful. He is so smooth.

"I have no idea what the hell 'signarihna' means, but sure." her Alternian accept is just helping her butcher the Italian even more.

"Huh? 'Course I'm not human!" look, you made her laugh. "Silly strange-speaking human. I'm a troll, DUH." because seriously how does this guy not know about the trolls from another universe?

He gives her his own laugh. "Excuse me. It means 'Miss'."

"Troll?" Just...this face. "I'm afraid I've never heard of such a...species." And honestly the teeth and fangs and horns are creeping him out a small bit. But he does look mildy apologetic!
